Innovation Wave Games presents Graveyard Bar, a classic-themed fighting game against the forces of evil. It is an innovative tabletop game that aligns with today’s gaming community's expectations. A medium level of strategic decision-making, typical of Eurogame, harmonizes with the exotic theme and chance that characterize the American style.

The engine/combo-building mechanics are supplemented with personal matrix-shaped tactical boards to track one's own progress, observe partners’ activities, and plan strategies. The emotional tension builds throughout the game, culminating in two final minigames in which you can press your luck to win.

Early History

Innovation Wave Games started in Adelaide, Australia, in 2015 as a boutique publisher with two founders:

Dr. Victor Paul, with dual doctorates in BIS and Economics, is an author of several books and special simulation games. He has been recognized with the 2024 Global Recognition Award.  

Roxana Paul is an internationally known artist and illustrator whose works are featured in Australia, the USA, Japan, South Korea, and Germany. Her solo exhibitions of oil paintings came to fruition, she created 16 card decks, and conducted seven successful Kickstarter campaigns.

After that

Founders decided to bring their experience and artistic findings to the tabletop games space, with fresh ideas for novel gameplay, underexplored themes, and adaptive design. This is how the Graveyard Bar came about. The game introduced several innovative elements, including active player engagement and tinkering.
